CLEVELAND (April 23, 2015) – Blue Point Capital Partners is pleased to announce the addition of a principal in Charlotte and the promotion of two of its Cleveland professionals.

Brian Castleberry is rejoining Blue Point as a principal in Charlotte and was previously a vice president with the firm. Most recently, Castleberry was a vice president at Red Ventures, a leading digital marketing services firm, where he led that company’s predictive analytics and advanced digital marketing teams. His background also includes time with HOPE International in Brazzaville, Congo, and Harris Williams & Co., where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. Castleberry graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and mathematics.

“In addition to sourcing and executing investments at Blue Point, Brian will take a lead role in building digital marketing, ecommerce and predictive analytics capabilities that will be used to assist our portfolio companies in driving growth,” said Juli Marley, a partner with Blue Point. “We are pleased to welcome him back to the group.”

Jeff Robich has been promoted to vice president. Prior to rejoining the group in 2013, he worked with Valley Forge Private Equity, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA. Robich was previously with Blue Point from 2005 through 2008 and also worked as an investment banking analyst at Societe Generale in New York.

Ben Newman has also been promoted to vice president. Before joining the group in 2010, he was an investment banking associate in the mergers and acquisitions group at Duff & Phelps Securities in Chicago.

John LeMay, also a partner with Blue Point, added, “Jeff and Ben have been an important part of our success in recent years, helping to identify and assess investments and then working with our management partners to build great companies. We are pleased to recognize their contributions.”
