CLEVELAND, OH (January 30, 2017) – Blue Point Capital Partners is pleased to announce the promotions of Dennis Wu, Charley Geiger and Jeff Robich, three long-standing members of the firm’s investment staff.

Dennis Wu has been promoted to Managing Director of the Shanghai office. Wu, a Shanghai native, joined the group in 2006. In his ten years with Blue Point, he has been instrumental in helping the Blue Point portfolio execute Asian growth and supply chain strategies.

“We are thrilled to recognize Dennis’s extensive contributions; he has been a vital part of our success with Asia-based strategies over the past decade. He has helped us to build a best-in-class team and capability in Shanghai,” said Chip Chaikin, a Partner with Blue Point.

Charley Geiger, based in Seattle, has been promoted to Principal.  Geiger joined the group in 2008 and has been a key contributor to Blue Point’s West Coast investment activities. As Principal, he will continue to focus on identifying opportunities and driving the growth and performance of Blue Point’s portfolio companies.

Jeff Robich, based in Cleveland, was promoted to Principal as well.  Robich has been with the group for seven years, during which time he also worked in the Seattle office. He recently earned his Masters in Finance from the Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame. Robich will continue to partner closely with Blue Point’s portfolio companies and evaluate new investment opportunities.

“Charley and Jeff have played an important part in the success and growth of Blue Point and its portfolio companies. We are proud to recognize their contributions to our firm, as well as their success in both helping to identify investments and in the execution of value-add strategies across our portfolio. Both will continue to be key contributors in Blue Point’s effort to build great companies,” said John LeMay, a Partner with Blue Point.
