Global Supply Chain

Blue Point’s Global Supply Chain team helped QSR hire a General Manager and sales representative in China, provided introductions and leads to local customers and helped develop standalone operations by adding local engineers and domestic tooling and material sources. Blue Point introduced a low volume concept into the Asian automotive, industrial and medical markets, to help overcome barriers to entry (i.e., high tooling costs). In result, QSR’s Asia revenue grew over 2000% from acquisition to time of exit.

M&A

QSR and Blue Point developed a focused growth strategy that involved pursuing growth in seven key medical segments based upon market potential and QSR capabilities. The Company shifted to 100% internal sales representation and established an independent medical production space in its Twinsburg, Ohio facility. QSR acquired Quadra / Limtech, which increased the Company’s medical molding capabilities, added key customer relationships and tooling capabilities, and increased total medical revenue approximately 150%.
